Susan Stewart, Owner & Professional Organizer

Susan Stewart, Owner & Professional Organizer

Susan founded Perfectly Placed in 2004. She loves making homes more beautiful and functional and is passionate about teaching sustainable systems to help those balancing responsibilities in multiple places. Susan received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and The Family and completed master’s level classes in counseling.

Before beginning Perfectly Placed, Susan was a preschool teacher and a gymnastics coach, both of which taught her to break down the steps of learning and how to encourage and motivate people. She is a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) nationally and in St. Louis.

You can probably find Susan working on a DIY project with her husband when she isn’t organizing for clients or running the business. Susan loves to create beautiful spaces at home as well as in the homes of others. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, taking long walks, and socializing in her neighborhood which she calls “Mayberry.”

Susan is mom to 2 grown children, a son-in-law, and her spoiled dog Sadie. Though not originally from St. Louis, she has called it home for 11 years.

Trish Mayfield

Trish Mayfield

Trish began working for Perfectly Placed in 2020. Prior to that she was a home stager and a hair dresser. Her work as a hair dresser gave Trish the ability to talk with anyone and put them at ease, and her experience as a home stager taught her spatial awareness, making her a perfect fit as a Team Lead for Perfectly Placed.

What Trish loves most about organizing is giving her client’s a peaceful, stress free home and leaving them with sustainable systems that make their homes run more smoothly. Her favorite organizing products are Lazy Susans and labels! Lazy Susans make it easy to reach things in the back of a cabinet and labels remove much of the effort required in putting things away.

When Trish isn’t organizing, you’ll find her somewhere near a body of water. Her current obsession is paddle boarding, which she does as often as her schedule allows. She also loves spending time with friends, attending concerts and going to all kinds of fun places with her two daughters.

Trish is a single mom of two teenagers and a one-eyed Yorkie named Tank. Being organized is crucial for her in order to keep up with her home, work, and the busy schedules of her teens. She is originally from St. Louis and feels so fortunate to be able to do what she loves for a living.

Kenzie Burkhardt

Kenzie Burkhardt

Before working for Perfectly Placed, Kenzie was an office manager and a nanny, both of which required great managerial skills. At both jobs she found herself setting up systems and looking for ways to utilize her organizational skills, which led her to the field of professional organizing! Kenzie began working for Perfectly Placed in 2021. She also works for a swimwear company in the customer service department.

What Kenzie loves most about organizing is the order it brings to chaos. It brings her great joy and comfort to walk into a mess and be able to put things away one by one, creating a clean space that has a system. Her favorite organizing products are cute baskets because they serve so many purposes. Not only do baskets keep things separated and contained, but they also create a natural boundary for how much of something she can store. And the cute part? Well, that’s a no brainer!

When Kenzie isn’t working, you’ll probably find her curled up in a chair with a burning candle nearby. She’ll have a good book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Kenzie is an avid reader so if you are looking for a good recommendation, Kenzie is your girl. She also enjoys boxing, taking walks and shopping at Target!

Kenzie is a connoisseur of scents. She says the way to heart is through her sense of smell so light up a candle if she is on her way to your house! Although originally from Memphis, Kenzie now lives in Brentwood with her husband where they enjoy long walks together.

Cindy Graham

Cindy Graham

Before working for Perfectly Placed, Cindy was a dental assistant and a stay at home mom. According to Cindy, as a dental assistant, if tools weren’t in their place, she couldn’t do her job effectively! The same is true for her life as a mom of a middle schooler and a school aged child with special needs. In fact, maybe even more so! Cindy began working for Perfectly Placed in 2021 and she continues to serve as a chief operating officer, chauffeur and a myriad of roles in her busy home.

What Cindy loves most about organizing is the satisfaction of seeing the finished job. She finds a great sense of satisfaction in seeing the completed project with everything in its place. She has two favorite organizing products. First is a pan and lid organizer because of the ease it brings in removing a pan or lid without having to unstack anything. Second, are the  turntables in her pantry. In her experience, turntables make it so simple to find the right sauce or oil.

When Cindy isn’t working for Perfectly Placed, you’ll probably find her working out or watching her daughter’s soccer or basketball game. She loves sports and working out in the wee hours of the morning. Because when else can a mom with young kids get a workout in? Cindy says that exercise helps her release her frustrations for the day.

Cindy is originally from Kansas City (Go Chiefs!) and has lived in Wildwood for the last 15 years. She and her husband are the founders of the John Thomas NKH Foundation which hosts an annual golf tournament to raise money for kids with NKH.

Katie Moslener

Katie Moslener

Katie has been an essential part of our Perfectly Placed team since 2023 where she brings her skills and experiences to the world of organization, creating order in spaces and minds. What she appreciates most about organizing is the simple joy of knowing where everything belongs, ensuring that you can effortlessly find whatever you need.

Katie’s top choice for organizing is the versatile “everything bin” from the Container Store, a product she’s seamlessly integrated into various aspects of her life. Whether it’s paper organization, freezer storage, or holding household cleaners, these bins are her go-to solution for staying organized.

Prior to joining our team, Katie worked as a toddler teacher at a preschool. Her love for babies and toddlers has unexpectedly enriched her organizing skills. In her classroom, she had to think in stations and be creative with storage solutions, much like she does when organizing spaces.

When she’s not busy creating order, you’ll find Katie spending quality time with her family, exploring the great outdoors with her dog, practicing Pilates, enjoying valuable moments with friends or being involved in her church community.

Katie is married and has 3 teenagers. Although originally from Washington D.C., she has called St. Louis home for the last 14 years and lives in Sunset Hills.
