We often develop creative solutions to storage problems and source proven organizing tools that are perfectly matched to your unique needs.
- Hands-On Organizing: We physically sort your belongings by emptying your space and grouping similar items together. Next, we help remove unwanted items by taking out the trash and loading up donations for you. Finally, we strategically arrange everything that remains in a way that makes sense for your lifestyle.
- Teaching Skills: A key aspect of our job is guiding you through the organizing process and helping you identify the habits or routines that led to disorganization. We provide practical tips and proven strategies to help you maintain order long-term, while offering ongoing encouragement and motivation to keep you on track.

Where do you serve in St. Louis?
We serve St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Wildwood, West County, South County, North County, central St. Louis, and neighborhoods like Ladue, Town and Country, Clayton, Frontenac, and Chesterfield. Virtual organizing consultations are available for clients outside the St. Louis area.
How much does professional organizing cost?
- Consultations: $125 for 60 minutes (1–2 spaces), $175 for 90 minutes (3 or more spaces)
- Hourly Rates: $90–$100 per organizer, per hour. Garages and unfinished basement rates are $115–$125 per organizer, per hour.
- Packages: See our Pricing page for details. Many full-home organizing projects are completed in a series of six 3-hour sessions with a team of two organizers. We’ll provide a custom estimate after your consultation so you can budget confidently.
What does the organizing process involve?
Our process is simple and supportive:
- Free Discovery Call: Tell us about your space and goals, and ask questions. This helps us determine if we’re a good fit for each other.
- Consultation: We assess your needs and develop a plan.
- Sort & Edit: We help you sort your items into categories and begin the editing process.
- Contain & Organize: Systems are created, products are used (if needed), and labels are placed for easy maintenance.
- Optional Maintenance: Follow-up visits are available to keep things on track.
Will I be involved during the process?
Your involvement is encouraged but not required, and we’ll discuss your preferences during the consultation. There are some things only you can decide—such as which items are cherished and which can be donated. However, it’s up to you how involved you’d like to be in the sorting or systemizing process. Generally, the more editing that needs to take place, the more involvement we’ll need from you.
How do you tailor your services to my unique needs—especially for ADHD or special needs?
We specialize in organizing for neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD or executive function challenges. Our team will teach you strategies for staying focused and maintaining easy-to-use systems with empathy, patience, and expertise—always adapting our approach to your lifestyle and preferences.
Is my home too messy for a professional organizer?
Never! We work with homes of all sizes and conditions throughout St. Louis. Our approach is non-judgmental and supportive. Our only goal is to help you feel comfortable and empowered as we transform your space together.
Do I need to be present while you organize?
Your presence is always our first choice because the more involved you are, the more customized your systems will be. However, after the initial consultation, we can work independently based on your instructions and preferences if needed.
Are your services confidential?
Absolutely. Privacy and trust are core values at Perfectly Placed. Everything we see and discuss in your home is strictly confidential.
Do you bring organizing products, or do I need to buy them?
We recommend and source organizing products tailored to your needs and budget. You’re welcome to use products you already own, or we can suggest new solutions to maximize your space.
What happens to items I want to donate or discard?
We assist with sorting items for donation, recycling, or disposal, and can recommend local charities or donation centers. If needed, we’ll provide resources for drop-offs or pickups.
Can you help with hoarding situations?
While we do not provide services for those struggling with hoarding disorder, we’re happy to refer you to a trusted source for specialized support:

Do you help with moving or life transitions?
Yes! We regularly assist clients who are expecting a baby, moving, combining households, going through a divorce, facing an empty nest, organizing after a loss, and other life transitions. Our team offers compassionate, practical support to make the process smooth and manageable.

Yes! We offer virtual organizing consultations for clients in St. Louis and beyond. Through video calls, you’ll receive a personalized plan and expert support to achieve your goals from anywhere.
How can I maintain my organized space after you’re done?

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. We understand that life happens, but ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel, to respect our time and yours.
Our cancellation policy:
- First cancellation: No charge—we understand emergencies happen.
- Second cancellation: $100 fee.
- Third cancellation: Full session charge. If scheduled with more than one organizer, you’ll be charged the full amount for each organizer.
What kinds of spaces do you organize?
We organize kitchens, pantries, closets, playrooms, kids’ rooms, garages, laundry rooms, bedrooms, home offices, paperwork, mudrooms, basements, and more. We also specialize in working with children and organizing for neurodivergent clients.
