Susan Stewart

Susan Stewart founded Perfectly Placed in 2004 and has since earned a reputation as one of St. Louis’s best professional organizers. Driven by a passion for transforming homes into beautiful, functional spaces, Susan is dedicated to teaching sustainable organizational systems—especially to those juggling responsibilities in multiple areas of their lives.

Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and The Family and has completed master’s-level coursework in counseling. Her background as a preschool teacher and gymnastics coach honed her ability to break down complex tasks into manageable steps and to inspire and motivate those with whom she works.

A proud member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), Susan brings over two decades of experience to her clients. Her late-in-life ADHD diagnosis has fueled her commitment to supporting neurodivergent individuals. She believes that well-designed organizational systems empower her—and her clients—to work with their unique wiring rather than against it, making organized living both accessible and freeing.

Outside of organizing and design, Susan enjoys tackling DIY projects with her husband, creating inviting spaces at home, planning enjoyable activities to do with her grandson, gardening, taking long walks, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her beloved dog, Sadie. Though not a St. Louis native, Susan has called the city home since 2011 and cherishes her tight-knit neighborhood, affectionately dubbed “Mayberry.” She is also a proud mom to two grown children, a son-in-law, and a delightful grandson.
